There's Hope- India Arie
This verse in "There's Hope" by India Arie has a very positive influence on young people aside from "Hipnotized" by Bigie Smalls. This verse and song has a positive influence on young people because it's talking about how she thought like how young people male and female of today, thought you need expensive cars to make you happy, but she learned a leason. The lesson that she learned was it's not expensive cars but it's the faith that you have in your heart. She also finds that having little was overated, and having millions was to complicated, so she was left with the thought of it's all about your perception(how you look at or see things)of life. That's why "There's Hope" is my choice of a positive song in comparision to Biggie Smalls "Hipnotized".

"There's Hope" India Arie
[Verse 1:]
Back when I had a little
I thought that I needed a lot
A little was over rated,
but a lot was a little too complicated
You see-Zero didn't satisfy me
A million didn't make me happy
That's when I learned a lesson
That it's all about your perception
Hey-are you a pauper or a superstar
So you act, so you feel, so you are
It ain't about the size of your car
It's about the size of the faith in your heart

Biggie Smalls- Hipnotized
This verse of Hipnotized has a bad influence on young people and society. I say this because this verse influences the nasty life of being a rapper. Meaning that when you get filthy rich you can do things and not get the repracusions of it. Also that having hoes is okay.
This verse has a great impact on the young people of today. The reason behind me saying this is because now a days all you see is young men trying to get with about 3 or 4 young women at one time.

My ancestor is Carrie Steed (maiden name Carrie Allen). Carrie Steed is my Great-Grandmother.Her birth date is March3,1923. Carrie Steed was born in Philadelphia. Carrie Steed is a retired nurse and did not attend high school because there was no high schools for her, only grade schools, and for college she did not attend. Carrie Steed's character and lifestyle is her since of humor, she goes to church every Sunday. Her husband was the pastor and I believe founder of "Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church". During her free time Carrie Steed enjoyed playing checkers. She also likes to ride the bus and compete with her Great-Grands.
